Christy Stratton

Christy Stratton, real estate marketing strategist for RREA Media has more than 18 years of marketing and public relations experience spanning many different industries, including real estate, hospitality and nonprofits. Through Connecting Houston Home, Stratton not only brings a whole new aspect to connecting buyers and sellers through video, she connects real estate industry professionals to their brand and their own personal and professional development.

Christy started her career in the home building and real estate industry in Houston and remains involved with memberships in the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) in their Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) and Membership and Education Committees and was recognized as the 2013 SMC Board Member of the Year. She is also involved in the Texas Association of Builders (TAB), the Houston Association of REALTORS^® (HAR), and the Women’s Council of REALTORS (WCR) as Secretary for the GREAT Northwest Chapter and Education Committee Co-Chair for the Houston Chapter. Stratton was selected to sit on the Houston Association of REALTORS MLS Advisory Group for a three-year term as well as the HAR Big-E Advisory Group and also serves on the HAR Professional Development Advisory Group. She is member of the Premier Agent Magazine Publisher’s Advisory Board and also maintains an active Texas Broker’s license.

An important part of Christy’s involvement is giving back to her community. She contributes herself, time and resources to the GHBA Benefit Homes project and HomeAid Houston, collectively serving the homeless, those who suffer with life-threatening illnesses, and those who are less-fortunate.

Christy is also a part of Champions School of Professional Development as a statewide instructor. Champions School of Professional Development is a division of Champions School of Real Estate and caters to all professionals in all industries. Christy brings the experience garnered throughout her diversified career to those seeking growth in their profession. She is also an instructor with Champions School of Real Estate and teaches real estate agents how to grow their businesses successfully through solid marketing strategy. Additionally, Christy is a certified Og Mandino coach with a mission to assist people in becoming more aware of their thoughts so they can maximize strengths and make needed changes. She shares time-tested principles that drive performance starting with service.

Christy enjoys travel, time with friends and family, serving, exercise, reading, writing and learning. She is an avid UT graduate and fan and declares, “I really do bleed orange!”
