
Years ago, when RREA Media first got into the radio business, we were of the opinion that this medium (radio) was probably antiquated and declining. We thought we would try it and see where it went, but we was certainly skeptical as to how it could impact our client’s businesses. How may people were going to hear the segments? How many of those people would be motivated to take action?
Knowing the world was undergoing a seismic shift in the way we communicate, we had to find a way to take the tried and true (talk radio) and apply it to the world of technology and new media. The power of new media as applied to radio is in capturing the content going out on the airwaves (video), re-purposing that content for online use, loading the content up with keywords, and having it found for years.
